SOFTWARE INSTALLATION FOR

I-CLASS CARDS

3.1 Overview

This chapter describes how to install and configure I-Class

Raptor cards. Installation of T-Class Raptor cards is covered in

Chapter 4. The following is a list of I-Class cards:

• Raptor 1000

• Raptor 2000

• Raptor 2500

NOTE: This software must be installed on your system prior to

running OpenWindows on these cards.

The software for the I-Class cards is provided on CD-ROM or by

FTP and is composed of the following packages:

• TSIrapw OpenWindows software

• TSIrcfg Raptor configuration program

• TSIrap 32-bit device driver for Raptor 1000 & 2000

cards

• TSIrapx 64-bit device driver for Raptor 1000 & 2000

cards

• TSIrapqfpx 64-bit device driver for Raptor 2500

• TSIrapqfp 32-bit device driver for Raptor 2500

3.2 Requirements

The following are prerequisites for installing the Raptor

OpenWindows for Solaris Software:

• The system is running Solaris 2.5.1 or higher.
